Vincenza (Carcia) LoNano of Everett died on Thursday, June 16, at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center of Medford. Born and raised in Palermo, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Angelina (Todisco) Carcia. Vincenza moved to the U.S. as a child and lived first in Boston's North End, then in Somerville, before settling in Everett.
Vincenza was the beloved wife of the late Francesco "Frank" LoNano, and the devoted mother of Salvatore LoNano and his wife Darlene of Methuen, Anthony LoNano and his wife Christine of South Boston, and the late Margaret LoNano. She is also survived by seven loving grandchildren and nine loving great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 AM on Monday, June 20 at St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. Services will conclude with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
