Robert Charles Sadler, 64, of Chula passed away Friday, June 17, 2016, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016, at Tifton’s First Assembly of God with the Rev. John Thomas officiating. Mr. Sadler will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 19, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mr. Sadler will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Roger Aultman, Jeron Griner, Joey Griner, David Hill, Mike Turnmire and Steve Holsenbeck will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Bruner, Tim Bruner, Andy Bruner, Juno Oleos, Cindy Farmer and Tosha Smith.
Born April 14, 1952 in Tifton, Mr. Sadler was the son of Virginia Willett Kennedy of Tifton and the late Julian Charles Sadler. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellin Hall Sadler.
Mr. Sadler is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Mary Ellen Thomas of Chula and Wayne and Kathy Thomas of Guin, Alabama.
