Sr. Mary Martin, 90, of Wellesley, MA, formerly of Fall River died June 14, 2016 at Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley, MA. She was a Religious of Jesus and Mary. Born in Fall River, MA she was the daughter of George Langlais and Rosanna (Fortin) Langlais. She entered the congregation of the Religious of Jesus and Mary in 1945 and was a teacher for most of her life. She was a reading specialist in the Providence Public School system for many years and taught at the Whitmarsh Home for Boys. In addition to her religious community, she is survived by a sister, Isabel Brodeur from Westport, MA, a sister, Jeannette Longchamps from Tacoma, WA and a brother, Albert from Somerset, MA as well as several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. A Mass celebrating her life will take place at St. Bernadette Church, 529 Eastern Ave., Fall River, on Friday, June 17th beginning at 11:00am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
