So. BOSTON - Elizabeth A. (Foti) Dunton, age 92, died Tuesday, June 14, at Marian Manor Nursing Center in Boston after a long period of declining health.
She was born in Boson, on August 11, 1923, a daughter of the late Mary (Shaughnessy) Foti, and raised in Medford, where she graduated from Medford High School. She had lived in South Boston the greater part of her life. Prior to retirement, she worked as an office clerk for the Court Square Press, publishing company in Boston.
She leaves a sister, Catherine “Kay” (Foti) DeGennaro and her husband Anthony of Tewksbury; two nephews, Mark DeGennaro of Tewksburty, Paul DeGennaro and his wife Terri (Bush) of Brockton, MA; grandnephews, Matthew, Nicholas and Anthony George; grandniece, Vanessa; great grandnephew, Maxwell, and great grandniece, Madeline; and was predeceased by two nephews, Anthony DeGennaro Jr., and Frank DeGennaro.
Visiting hours Friday, June 17, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. Her Funeral Mass will follow on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
