Nita L. Kandzierski, 96, of Chepachet died Tuesday, June 14, 2016. She was the widow of Stephen Kanzierski. They had been married for 43 years.
Born in Smithfield, she was a daughter of Donat and Yvonne (Banville) Bourgeois. After a brief period of time living in Providence, she relocated to Glocester. She remained a resident for over fifty years. She had been employed by a glass container manufacturer in Dayville, Connecticut.
She is survived by her children, Donna M. Tetreault of Glocester and Stephen Kandzierski from Orlando, Maine, as well as her grandchildren, William and Cheri, her great-grandchildren, Katherine and Killian. She is predeceased by her brother, Arthur Bourgeois.
Private funeral services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI.
