Lynn Arbuckle Fredericks, 66, passed away to her Heavenly Father on June 12, 2016 with her family by her side at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital, following a brief illness.
Lynn was born on February 26, 1950 in Bedford, IN. She attended Bedford High School and graduated from Washington High School. She attended Indiana State University majoring in Criminology. She was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority.
Besides being a devoted mother and wife, Lynn had been employed by Trinity Episcopal Church of Anderson, Barber Manufacturing of Anderson, Chet Stewart Accountants of Anderson, Youth Services Bureau of Montgomery County, Indiana State Teachers Association in Terre Haute, and Charles Hite Community Center in Terre Haute. She served in office administration in each of these endeavors.
Lynn was an active bowler in this area for many years. She loved gardening and her cats.
Lynn is survived by Edward A. Fredericks, her husband of 45 years, daughters, Maggie Naughton (Brian) from Boston, MA and Erika Lewis (Dennis) of Portland, OR; sisters, Susan Cox (Greg) of Bedford and June Hawkins of Athens, GA. Also surviving are brother-in-law, Gerry Fredericks (Diane), brother-in-law Steve Fredericks (Terri), brother-in-law, John Fredericks, brother-in-law, Bill Fredericks (Jeanne) sister-in-law, Janice Stamper, sister-in-law, Phyllis Goettman (Robin) and sister-in-law, Karen Carr (James) and many nieces and nephews. She was also the doting grandmother to Garret Lewis, Brynn Lewis, Olivia Naughton and Nolan Naughton.
Preceding Lynn in death were her mother, Nina Kern, stepfather, George C. Arbuckle, grandmother, Esther C. Kern and father, Garris Henderson.
Per her wishes, Lynn's remains will be cremated with private services to be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the Chesterfield E.M.T.'s, St. Vincent's Trauma team, C.C.U. staff, Dr. Beeson, Dr. Molina, the Chaplaincy and finally Emily, Rae Anne and Tony, R.N.'s for their rapid response, professional care and loving manner given to our wife and mother. We also wish to thank Judy Wagner, Lynn's caregiver and friend for the last two years.
