Elba L. Thompson
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, June 13, 2016, Mrs. Elba Lorenza Thompson, 82, loving wife to the late Jorge Thompson, Sr.
Mrs. Thompson was a native of Chile. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and hearing her children sing. She was strong, determined, incredibly dedicated, and she never gave up on keeping her family safe and protected. Mrs. Thompson was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Family members include her sons: Juan Thompson and wife Ana, Jorge Thompson and wife Yeini, Mario Thompson and wife Victoria; daughter: Erica Cordova and husband Carlos; grandchildren: Erik Thompson, Anna Parchem, Justin Thompson, Cristian Thompson, Luis Thompson, Carolina Cordova, Yazmin Thompson, Cassandra Thompson, Jorge Thompson, and Cynthia Cordova; great granddaughters: Zoey Thompson and Sophia Parchem; and sister: Teresa Rojas.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Marquez officiating. Entombment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
