Thiersch, Linda Carol (Lyons), 74, of Louisville passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016. Linda was a member of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ, Owen Grief Group, Apple Patch Community, PTA, a Cub Scout Den Mother & had retired from the Presbyterian Seminary. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosetta (Elrod) & Orville Benton Lyons; her husband of 50 years, Roger Benjamin Thiersch. Survivors include her two sons, Roger Bryan Thiersch (Melissa) & Timothy Benton Thiersch; a sister, Janice Brown (Bill); a granddaughter, Hamilton; many nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held 9:00 A.M. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be 3:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday. Memorial gifts may be made to American Heart Association or Hosparus of Louisville.
