KURPESKI, Ann L. (Schafer) Of Hyde Park formerly of Dedham, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on June 12, 2016. Wife of the late Walter F. Kurpeski. Devoted mother of Raymond K. Kurpeski and his wife Stephanie of Quincy, Ralph B. Kurpeski and his wife Cherie of Readville, and the late Richard W. Kurpeski. Mother-in-law of Martha Kurpeski of Roslindale. Grandmother of Rachel and Mark Ingemi of Dedham, Ritchard Kurpeski of Roslindale, Elizabeth and Forrest Frazier of Salem, Christine Kurpeski and Timothy Gardiner of Watertown, Sara Kurpeski of Salem, Amelia Kurpeski of Salem, John Kurpeski and Victoria Haskell (fiancé) of Quincy, Melanie Calderon of FL, Kurtis Kurpeski of FL, Natalie Kurpeski of Everett, Alexander Kurpeski of Roslindale, and Robert Kurpeski of Readville. Also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Predeceased by her cherished parents Karl G. and Ann E. (Adomitis) Schafer, and the sister of the late Richard Schafer, the late Kay (Schafer), and brother-in-law Tom Ceaser, all of Dedham. Ann is survived by her sister-in-law, Lottie Schafer of Dedham.
Ann was very active in politics, an avid gardener, passionate Boston sports fan, and animal lover.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham, Wednesday, June 15 from 4-8pm. Funeral Service in the funeral home, Thursday, June 16 at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in The Gardens at Gethsemane, West Roxbury.
