Daniel Fernandes (64) of Brockton died June 12th in his home under hospice and surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Rosa (Lopes) Fernandes.
He was born in Mosterios, Fogo, Cabo Verde son of Viriato Fernandes of Cabo Verde and the late Matilte Fernandes. He has been a resident of Brockton 6 years coming from Cabo Verde. Daniel was known as a great joke teller and devoted to his family.
In addition to his wife and father he is survived by 3 sons Manuel, Amaden and Zito Fernandes all of Brockton, 2 daughters Maria Fernandes of Taunton and Helga Fernandes of Brockton, 8 grandchildren, 4 brothers Domingos Fernandes of West Bridgewater, Domingos Lopes, Leoner and Pedrim Fernandes all of Brockton.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday June 15th at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday June 14th from 5-9 pm.
