Walter L. DelConte passed away suddenly on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. Born in Boston, Walter was a resident of Milton for most of his life, before he moved to Sagamore Beach. He vacationed in Manomet for many years with his family. He was a retired Mechanical Engineer for the Natick Lab and a Korean War Army veteran. He was the beloved husband of Nora Elizabeth (O’Gorman), who he was married to for 56 years, the devoted father of David DelConte of FL, Steven DelConte and his wife Joanne of Milton, Debora Reale and her husband Joe of SC, Sharon DelConte of Pembroke and Kathleen Cotter and her husband George of Duxbury and the loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton Friday morning at 10:00. Visiting hours. at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Thursday 4 to 8PM. Interment in Milton Cemetery.
