Foster, William A., 84, passed away June 10, 2016 in Louisville. He was born to Will Ed and Clara (Bell) Foster.
William worked at American Synthetic Rubber for many years where he retired. He was a member of Ralph Ave. Baptist Church, a Mason with Morrison Lodge #76 in Elizabethtown, Kosair Shrine, Directors Staff, Sand Bugs, Street Machines and Hardhats, and Rineyville Alumni Class of 1950.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 yrs., Billie (Smith); a son, Phillip Foster, and a daughter, Deborah Hopkins; three grandchildren, Sean and Brett Foster, Sarah Busey; three great-grandchildren, Katie, Elizabeth, and Zeke Foster; one brother, Dawson Foster; two sisters, Edwinna Puckett, and Zola Campbell.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation is Monday from 1:00-8:00PM.
