Edward P. Foley age 83 of Methuen, MA, died Thursday at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill, MA.
He was born in Dorchester, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He later graduated from Harvard Business School. He was a resident of Methuen for over 40 years.
Ed was an electrical engineer for Boston Edison, where he retired in 1995 after 38 years of service. He was a US Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of St. Monica’s Church in Methuen. He enjoyed dancing and gardening. He was a collector and an avid reader.
He was the son of the late Thomas and Siohban Foley. He was predeceased by his siblings Tom, Jack, and Barbara.
He is survived by his partner of over 40 years: Teresa (King) Walsh of Methuen, MA

Calling hours will be held Monday, June 13th from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 14th at 11 AM at St. Monica Church, Methuen. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
