Margaret E. “Peggy” Fournier, 84, of Saw Mill Road, Glocester, died Friday in Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of Henry M. “Hank” Fournier. They had been married for 64 years.
Born in Providence a daughter of the late William F. and Christine (Thurber) Parker, she had lived in Glocester for 56 years. She had worked as an assembler at Mine Safety in Smithfield for 25 years before retiring.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Cheryl Preston and her husband, Steven of Greenville, Cindy Cashman of Norwich, CT, her sons: Michael Fournier of Norwich, CT, and Kevin Fournier and his wife Joelle of Greenville, her grandchildren, Michael Fournier, PJ Cashman, Michaela and Brandon Fournier, a great-grandchild, Luca Cashman and a sister, Eleanor Hicks of Coventry. She was the sister of the late Marion LeTourneau.
Her Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Park, Johnston. Visitation Monday 4-7pm.
