Barton K. Taylor, 93 of Londonderry, NH, died Thursday, July 14, 2005 in the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center, Manchester, NH. Mr. Taylor was born in Bridgeport, CT on April 28, 1912, a son of the late Chauncey K. and Mary (Smith) Taylor. He was a resident of Manchester for three years, formerly living in Londonderry and Mansfield Center, CT. He was employed as a general manager for Natchaug Hospital in Mansfield Center and also as a supervisor of powder mixing at Remington Arms in Bridgeport, CT. He was a member of St. Xenia of Petersburg Russian Orthodox Church in Methuen, MA and a life member of the "Friends of McLean."
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice G. Taylor of Londonderry, a daughter, Charleen Daniels of Nashua, NH and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 16th at 10:00am in St. Xenia of Petersburg Russian Orthodox Church, 170 N. Lowell Rd., Methuen, MA. The burial was in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Methuen. Calling hours were 5-8pm, Friday, July 15th at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Xenia of Petersburg Russian Orthodox Church, PO Box 147, Methuen, MA 01844.
