Norbert Raymond Dlugosinski, 68, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday June 9, 2016. He was the son of the late Joseph N. and Lucille M. (Desrochers) Dlugosinski.
Norbert served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1968 and was stationed in Vietnam. He was awarded the Vietnam Service medal with two bronze stars.
A very creative person, his main interests were sign making and woodworking. Many of his signs are on display throughout New Bedford and Fairhaven. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his sisters, Elaine Strawn, Linda Dlugosinski, and Gayle Ouattara; his brother, Jeffrey J. Dlugosinski; his son, Peter R. Dlugosinski; his granddaughters, Allison and Emerson Dlugosinski; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His Funeral Services will be private.
