Paul J. Flynn, 67, of Fiskdale died Thursday, June 9th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 42 years, Linda A. (DiMarco) Flynn; two daughters, Rebecca M. Flynn-Falconer and her husband, Eric of Los Angeles, CA and Kaitlyn M. Marshall and her husband, Christopher of Grafton; two brothers, Peter Flynn and his wife, Sharon of Worcester and Patrick Flynn and his husband, Anthony Harrington of New Jersey; a sister, Ann Yoder and her husband, Marvin of Virginia; four grandchildren, Natalie, Parker, Benjamin and Ronan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was born in Worcester the son of Paul and Barbara (Fitzgerald) Flynn. Mr. Flynn graduated from Clark University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Paul was an IT manager for 30 years with Digital Corporation, Compaq and Hewlett-Packard and taught a computer technology class from 2006 until 2010 at Tantasqua Regional High School. He was a member of St. Anne and St. Patrick Parish. Paul enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. His work ethic was admirable. His love and devotion to his family was paramount to none. He was kind and thoughtful in both his words and actions. He also was proud of his heritage, children and grandchildren. Mr. Flynn enjoyed nature, golf and spending time fishing.
His funeral is Monday, June 13th in St. Anne and St. Patrick Parish, 16 Church Street with a Mass at 10:00 AM. (Please go directly to church). Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St., Worcester. Calling hours are Sunday, June 12th from 4:00 until 6:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester.
