Fischer, Jr., Richard “Tucker” F., 76, passed away June 7, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. He was born to Richard F. Sr., and Ruth (Blunk) Fischer in Louisville. Richard worked many years for Mason-Dixon until they dissolved, then for Banner Transfer where he retired in 1993, was a lifelong Teamster with Local #89, and a Baptist by faith. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard “Ricky” Fischer; a grandson, Jeremy Fischer, and a sister, Ruth Jackson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 yrs., Marilyn (Wimp); children, Jeff (Betty S.), and Chris (Darla) Fischer; grandchildren, Jason, Corey, Aaron, Brandon, Megan, and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Katie, and Jeremy; a sister-in-law, Sharon Vance; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 10:00AM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation is Friday 1:00-8:00PM, and after 9:00AM Saturday.
