In Middleboro, formerly of East Taunton, June 7, 2016 Suzanne P. (Desmarais) Adams wife of the late William L. Adams Jr. died at Hanna B.G. Shaw Home with her family by her side at the age of 86. Born in Fall River, Suzanne was the daughter of the late Raoul and Marie (Tisserand) Desmarais. Suzanne was a graduate of Durfee High School and was retired from Strojny Glass in Taunton after working there for over thirty eight years. She enjoyed being at home with her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Suzanne was the mother of John Adams Sr. and his wife Dolores of Taunton and Stephen Adams and his wife Barbara of East Taunton. Grandmother of John Adams Jr. and his wife Cindy of Carver, Lisa Adams and her fiancée George Olson of Taunton, Tab Shumway and his wife Kelly of Lakeville, Daryl Shumway and his wife Nikki of Middleboro and the late Daniel and Corey Adams. Great grandmother of thirteen and two great great grandchildren. Sister of Victorine Snelson of VA and the late Paul, David and Charles Desmarais. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Saturday, June 11th at 9 AM. A Mass will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 10 AM. Calling hours will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 5-8 PM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
