Cecile (Bedard) Checovich age 91, passed away on June 6, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Checovich, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage.
Cecile was a home maker. She was a member of St. Monica’s Church in Methuen. She enjoyed playing 45’s, knitting, crocheting, and cooking. Most of all Cecile loved being with her family.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters: Irene Bourbeau of California and Julie Caron of Methuen, MA, Sons: Ray Checovich of Methuen, MA, and Michael and his wife Alis Checovich of Dracut, MA.
She was the proud grandmother of Brian Caron, Nicole Settineri, Andrea Caron, and Mikey Checovich. She also leaves great grandchildren: Joseph and Anthony Settineri, Hailey and Abigail Caron.
She also survived by her siblings: Lillian Croteau, Terry Parent, Mary Jane Pepin, Lionel and Robert Bedard, and Sisters in Law: Lillian Bedard and Helen Holden
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 11th from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM at St. Monica’s Parish, Methuen. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence,
