Donald E. Lynch,77, passed away June 4,2016.
He was a member of Meadowhill Baptist Church, a retired Police Officer with Jefferson County Police Dept. and currently worked as a security supervisor at Jewish Hospital East, a member of the Mason Lodge, Kosair Shrine and F.O.P. Metropolitan Lodge #32.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents Anna and Cecil Lynch and sister Pat Abernathy.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Judy (Mc Queary) Lynch, son Keith Lynch (Zina), stepmother Dorothy Lynch; sisters Kathie Zehnder (Mark), Linda Simialek (Kris) Barbara Stafford (Roger) and Betty Adams; brothers David Philpot (Ramona) and Robert Philpot (Kim); three grandchildren Andrew Schatt, Corey D. Dishman (Ashley) and Savannah Drane; three great grandchildren Joshua and Chloe Dishman , John Knoop and extended family Connie and David Drane.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday 11 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens (West).
Visitation will be Monday 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home
