LITCHFIELD, NH - Nancy Joan (Ashe) Brown, age 59, died peacefully Tuesday June 7th, 2016 after a courageous, decade long battle with early onset Alzheimer’s. She was the wife of Joseph M. Brown Jr., with whom she had celebrated a 30th wedding anniversary this past September 1st.
She was born June 28th, 1956 in Lowell, MA, She was one of four children of the late William and Patricia (Keon) Ashe. Nancy was raised in Tewksbury, MA and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1974. She then went on to earn a Bachelors of Science Degree in Medical Technology from U-Lowell, formerly known as Lowell Tech.
Nancy became a formulation chemist for several plastics manufacturing companies in the area, including Key Polymer Co. and Creative Materials Inc., until illness forced her in to early retirement.
She was a former member of St. William’s Parish in Tewksbury, and was a communicant of St. Matthews Parish, Windham, NH.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Haley M. Brown and her husband Mark T. Brown Jr. of Sanbornton, NH, and Olivia L. Brown of Litchfield, NH; her sister, Susan Flagg of Manchester, NH; two brothers, William Ashe Jr., and his wife Wendy (Stone) of Hollis, NH, Robert Ashe and his wife Virginia (Danner) of Londonderry, NH; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours Saturday morning, June 11, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph.
