Norman DeMello, Jr., 48, of South Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of Rhode Island in Providence. He was the son of Norman and Kathleen J. (Ferreira) DeMello, Sr. of Westport
Norman was born in Fall River and had been a longtime resident of South Dartmouth. He was the owner/operator of D&M Concrete Contracting, Inc. He was a lover of life and had the most generous heart.
Survivors along with his parents include his 3 daughters: Carissa A. Wills-DeMello, Shelbie A. DeMello and Paris C. DeMello, all of South Dartmouth; his former wife: Rachel A. (Wills) DeMello; his sister: Christine Gagnon and her husband Michael of Westport; his brother: Kevin DeMello and his wife Holly of Westport; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held at the DeMello residence, located at 185 Gaffney Rd., South Dartmouth, MA 02748 on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 4:30 P.M.
Calling hours will be from 12-4:30 P.M., at the DeMello residence, prior to the service.
Burial will be private.
