Irene B. Dawson
Manchester– Irene B. Dawson, 104, died May 31, 2016 at a local healthcare facility following a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on August 8, 1911 the daughter of Joseph and Malvina (Tardiff) Blanchette.
Irene was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was active in many areas of the church. She served on the Board of Deacons, President of the MSB Class, President of the Women’s Union, a choir member, planned and organized the wedding receptions and called on the Shut– In Members.
She was predeceased by her husband, James M. Dawson.
Family members include, one daughter, Constance Harvey, one granddaughter, Debra L. Malynn and her husband, Joseph, all of Manchester, and three grandsons, Eric, Ryan, and Bret.
She was also predeceased by one grandson, Steven F. Harvey, two brothers, Louis, Albert, and one sister, Yvonne.
A service of remembrance will be held on Friday at 2PM in J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
