Nick Zagrovich, 74, passed away on June 4th, 2016 at home after an extended illness.
He was born February 17th, 1942 in East Chicago, IN. The son of the late Willis N. Sr. and Ann Zagrovich.
Nick served in the United States Army from 1959-1962. He worked as a barber at Burk’s Barber Shop, then several years with Canteen Vending Service, and finally retiring from Aramark Vending.
Nick was a devoted family man and friend with a tireless work ethic. He was an avid fan of Nascar and football.
He is survivied by his wife Charlotte of 47 years; son Anthony Zagrovich; daughter Kelly (Chad) Bishop. Four grandchildren; Donna Zagrovich, Jarek Zagrovich, Breana Bishop, and Madison Bishop; a sister, Beverly Bonfiglio of Florida; a brother, John (Bonnie) Zagrovich of Lowell, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express our emence gratitude to Ange Rogers and Beth Badders for all of their care and kindness. We would also like to thank the Compassus Hospice staff especially Terry, Jerry, and Gary for their compassion and care of Nick and our family during our journey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation and the Hospice Angels Foundation on Nick’s behalf.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 8th at 7 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Gary Kirchoff officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. Burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery at a later date.
