Helene Brydge of Chelsea died on Friday, June 3, at the East Point Nursing Home of Chelsea. Born and raised in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Taphilia Gedziun. Helene was a Somerville resident for over 60 years and was employed as a Nurse's Aide.
She was the devoted mother of Richard Brydge of North Carolina, Donald Brydge and his wife Pia of Virginia Beach, VA, and the late John Brydge. Helene was the loving grandmother of Christopher, Craig, Michael and Kelly, the loving great grandmother of Dominick, Quinn, Kevin, Elizabeth and Heather, and the loving great great grandmother of Kevin Jr. She was the cherished sister of the late Michael, Frank, John and Sarah.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, June 8, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 through 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
