Edith Holley, 79, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Saturday, June 4, 2016, at her residence.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Ms. Holley was born July 10, 1936, in Axson, Georgia, to the late Jesse & Katie Bennett Pafford. She was a graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Ms. Holley worked as a facility construction coordinator for General Telephone. She loved to crochet and read and was a member of the former Callie Garbutt Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses: Karen S. Igglehart & Dave of Savannah and Alesia H. Davis & Jimmy of Fitzgerald; three grandchildren: Stacy Nicole Ruis & Clint, Whitney Lea Justice & Gabe, and Sara Ashley Igglehart; two great-grandchildren: Taylor Wade Justice and Hunter Solomon Ruis; as well as one sister and three brothers. She is also survived by her caregiver, Wanda Hart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
