Obituary

Long time Braintree resident Martin Joseph Tarlowski passed away suddenly on June 1st at the age of 68. Beloved son of Carl and Ann Tarlowski (both deceased), he is survived by his sister Irene Harrington and his brother Paul Tarlowski, Sr.

He is also survived by two nephews who were very dear to him Shane Harrington and Paul Tarlowski Jr; as well as several nieces that he loved very much; Lauren and Marilyn Tarlowski, Arlene Lagos and her husband Stephen Lagos, Cheryl Hinrichs and her husband Dave Hinrichs, Tiffany and Carla Tarlowski and his great grand niece Shawnee Lagos.

Known as "Marty" to everyone, he was always surrounded by many friends that he loved with all his heart. Marty served in the Air Force Reserves from 67'-73', was known for his love of music, the kindness he displayed by opening his home to those in need, and his unconditional love of dogs.

Martin's wake will be held on Tuesday, June 7th at Casper Funeral home at 187 Dorchester St in South Boston from 4-8pm followed by a 10 am morning mass on Wednesday, June 8th at Saint Augustine Chapel (next to funeral home).Following the mass the burial will be at New Calvary Cemetery in Mattapan.
