Evelyn A. "Peg" Ritchie

ANDERSON--Evelyn A. "Peg" (Lahrman) Ritchie, 87, of Anderson died June 3, 2016 at her residence, after a 3 1/2 year battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born, July 25, 1928 to Lawrence and Lena (Hege) Lahrman.
She was a homemaker and retired as a realtor from F.C. Tucker. She volunteered at St. John's Hospital; St. Vincent de Paul Society and small Christian Communities. She was a member of Madison County Realtor Board, Daughters of Isabella. She loved spending time with her family, sewing, gardening, and enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her four children, Cindy (Rick) Lantz; Melissa Brooks, Ronald (Lisa) Ritchie all of Anderson; Sharon Fannin (Mike Fox) of Bradenton, FL; six grandchildren, Christopher Brandon; Scott Brandon; Kristen Ritchie; Kourtney (Nick) Wilson; Haley (Todd) Harless and Abby Riley; five great grandchildren, Sullivan Stahl; Owen Wilson, Nora Wilson, Olive Harless and Rozleigh Kellermeyer; two brothers, Joe Lahrman and Jack Lahrman both of Lafayette; special caregiver, Kristi Lantz; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Owen Ritchie, son, Stephen Charles Ritchie; five siblings, Florence Patton, Frances Hengst, Margaret Cornell, Robert Lahrman and Lawrence Lahrman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignor Robert L. Sells, III officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Cross School or American Cancer Society.
