Carter and her husband Robert Jr. of Winthrop and the late Daniel J. Govoni. Adored grandmother of Daniel and Cassandra Govoni and Kaitlyn, Danielle, and Michael Carter. Cherished daughter of the late Florence (Carter) Stokowski and her late step-father John Stokowski. Dear sister of George Coleman of Worcester, and the late Stephen Stokowski, Robert Coleman, and Ellen Susan Stokowski. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Tues, June 7, 2016 at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Mon from 4-8pm.
