Obituary

We have lost the patriarch of our family, born March 23rd,1930 in Manhattan New York. Arthur
made his final trade on February 14th, 2016 at the age of 85. He was granted a heavenly
reunion with his wife on Valentines day. He passed away in Wichita Kansas with his daughter
Sally by his side. He was the son of Joseph and Emma Roberge who proceeded him in death.
Art served as an Instrument Technician at Brown Company, retiring in 1992. He and Louise
owned and operated The Needle and Thread fabric store in Gorham. Louise gave quilt lessons
and Art serviced sewing machines and did scissor sharpening. His hobbies were playing the
stock market and staying up on current events. He religiously perused both the Dow and
Nasdaq stock exchanges, enjoying all the ups and downs. He was mechanically inclined and
could fix anything, spending many hours working on cars for the family. When visiting his
Grandchildren he would be met at the door with all their broken toys to fix, because only
Grampie from New Hampshire could fix them said the kids. He served in the army as a Small Arms Mechanic for the 384th Ordnance Medium Maintenance Company. He was most proud of he and Louise providing a college education for all three girls, giving us a chance to succeed in life. He lived his last three years with his daughter Sally in Wichita, Kansas. He was a hardworking, loving and gentle man with a kind heart. We will miss you
Dad.
