Harold Bevins of Anderson, IN went to his Heavenly home on May 2 5, 2016.
He was born in Wise, Virginia on February 1, 1935 and predeceased by his parents, Lilon and Lilly Bevins and twin brother, Gerald Bevins.
He graduated from JJ. Kelly High School in Wise, Virginia. He was a history buff, enjoyed playing golf and winning at cards. He loved his dog and cats. He loved old movies and Bonanza and Gunsmoke.
He worked in retail most of his life. He was proud to be a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Anderson.
He is survived by his sisters, Sally Irene Sanders Ruefenacht and Irma Lee Bevins Humerickhouse, daughter, Angela Williams of Florida, son, Mark (Kim) Bevins of Virginia; grandchildren, Robert and Ryan Williams of Florida, Audrey and Rodney Bevins of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Kyle Manning of Florida and Chase Williams of Australia; special nieces and nephews, Amber and John Longnaker, Jennifer and Gina Humerickhouse, Pam and Lowell Butz, Randy and Barbie Humerickhouse, cousin, Jackie Bailey all of Anderson, and cousin Patrick Andersen of Virginia.
He expressed to many people that his wish and prayer was for his family to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ so he could spend eternity with them in Heaven.
A memorial service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church; 323 School Street, Anderson at 11 a.m. on June 18 conducted by his Pastor Bob Adams.

Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society or Bethany Baptist Church.
