Richard J. Castelli, 75, of Fall River, formerly of Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2016 at home with his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara A. (Heim). He is survived by his children, Maria C. Castelli of Fall River, Joseph M. Castelli of Plymouth, and Jose Cirino of Brockton. He was the grandfather of Nicholas and Richard Mullins, Trevor and Christian Castelli, and Brandon Cirino. He was the great grandfather to Liam Mullins and Kamille Mullins. He was the beloved brother of Joanne Keefe of Braintree and the late Robert Castelli. He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. He was also the foster-grandfather and foster-great-grandfather to many children who called him "Pa". All of the kids were his reason for living. Dick has requested to be cremated, with no funeral services but will be interred with his beloved Barbara at the Forest Hills Cemetery and the family invites attendees to celebrate Dick's life immediately following the interment at the Boston Police VFW Post 1018, 500 Morton Street, Dorchester, MA 02124, date still to be determined.
