Obituary

Walter J. "Chuck" Haley, Jr., 70, of East Freetown died June 2, 2016 unexpectedly at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of Sandra A. (Briggs) Haley.
Born in Weymouth, the son of the late Walter J. and Mary E. (Bernan) Haley, he was raised in Hull and Lived in New Bedford and East Freetown most of his life.
Mr. Haley was a communicant of St. John Neumann Church.
He was formerly employed by General Electric Credit Corp. before retiring from Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.
Mr. Haley enjoyed spending time with his family especially with his grandson Evan. He enjoyed watching the RedSox, Patriots, Bruins, Celtics and Notre Dame.
Survivors include his wife; 3 sons, Christopher Haley and his wife Maura of Norwood, Greg Haley and his fiancé Ana Theodore of Rochester and Brian Haley and his wife Jennifer of Middleboro; his grandson, Evan Haley; 5 brothers, Peter Haley of Brick, NJ, Timothy Haley of Seattle, WA, Kevin Haley of San Diego, CA, R. Shawn Haley of Hingham, MA and Mark Haley of Weymouth, MA; a sister, Mary Ann Haskins of Quincy, MA; his aunt, Marie Haley of Hull, MA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 7th at 9:45 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. John Neumann Church at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be on Monday, June 6th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Saint Anselm College, 100 St. Anselm Dr., Manchester, NH 03102 or the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave., Waltham, MA 01701.
