FT.MYERS, FL--Emma Louise (Lambert) Stephens, 94 of Ft. Myer's, FL (former resident of Anderson) died on May 27, 2016 at Hope Hospice following a two month illness.
She was born on April 5, 1922 in Mecca, IN to Lee Otis and Birdie Bell (Stever) Lambert. She graduated from Mecca High School.
She worked for 30 years in production at Guide Lamp and retired in 1974. She was a member of White Union Christian Church in Honey Creek, IN. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her two sons, David Lee (wife, Cynthia) Stephens and William Terry (wife, Wendy) Stephens; four grandchildren, William Randy (wife Sherrie) Stephens, Danny Lee (wife, Susan) Stephens, Cynthia Lee (husband, Tony) Mills, and Sandra Kay (husband, Tom) Karr; nine great-grandchildren, Krissie (husband Shawn), Jonathan, Cory, Cortney, Dustin, Joshua, Richie, Ryan, and Kaitlin, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Douglas Stephens; sister, Virginia Clinard and brother, Dale Lambert.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Gordon Barrett officiating. The burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to White Union Christian Church.
