Lorraine Dempsey succumbed to her long battle with dementia on May 31. She was born and raised in Boston, she became a longtime resident after settling in Hudson with her family: She was a loving mother and grandmother: she leaves behind 4 daughters; Donna (Dempsey) Greska of Hudson, Brenda (Dempsey) Turner of Hubbardston, Lorraine (Dempsey) Hanley of Watertown and Debra (Dempsey) Hennessy of Stow; 9 grandchildren; and 3 ½ great grandchildren; She enjoyed spending time with her family and her companion (Precious) in her final years.
A funeral service and celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 7th at 10:00 a.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial services will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
