Marion – Eleanor (Isseks) Wallach, 98, formerly of New Bedford passed away May 31, 2016 at Sippican Health Care Center. She was the widow of Harold Wallach and mother of the late Jeffrey David Wallach.
Mrs. Wallach was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Harold and Jennie (Meltzer) Isseks, and resided most of her life in New Bedford. She was employed as a Bridal Consultant for many years at Designer One and in later years as a sales clerk at Alexon until her retirement. She enjoyed playing Mahjong , Bridge, bowling, golf, and was known for her baking – supplying her son’s diner with her “mile high Apple Pie”.
Mrs. Wallach is survived by her daughter: Trudy Jo Wallach of New Bedford.
