Brian Lee Zapor, 58, a truck driver for WWDS/UPS, of Mapleville, died Tuesday at home. He was the husband of Sharron Lee (Hardy) Zapor. They celebratedd their 38th wedding anniversary on July 2nd.
Born in New Britain, CT, a son of the late Joseph J. & Ida M. (Laflamme) Zapor. He had been a resident of Mapleville for the past 11 years and had previously lived in Attleboro.
He was a member of Local Union #252 and Roofer’s Union Local #9.
Besides his wife he is survived by four daughters Rene M. Brown and her husband Donald of Ofallon, MO, Nadine J. Eli and Christine I. Horton and her husband Clay, all of Arlington, TX, Stefanie K. Baron and her husband Keith of Bosier City, LA, a brother Raymond Zapor of Enfield, CT, a brother in law George Vitali of New Britain, CT and his daughters Karen and Lynn, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was the father in law of the late Rodger Eli, brother of the late William and Bernard Zapor and Shirley Vitali.
Funeral service Tuesday at 11:30am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt.44 at Greenville Common,Greenville. Burial with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Monday 4-8pm and Tuesday morning 10:00 to 11:30am.
