Concord------Joan Beverly (Bragg) Haddock 82, of Maitland Street, longtime resident of Laconia, died suddenly at Concord Hospital Thursday, May 26, 2016.
Joan was born December 17, 1933 in Laconia, NH Daughter to the late Walter Dubois and Leafie Leorabelle Bragg. She was raised by her loving maternal grandparents, John I. and Mazie (Goodridge) Bragg. Joan worked for the State of New Hampshire Laconia State School for over 17 years before retiring in 1988.
Joan enjoyed camping, arts & crafts, traveling, trips to the ocean and she was also an avid bingo player. Above all she loved spending time with her family.
Joan is survived by her three sons, Robin Lounsbury and his wife, Sara of Pembroke John Lounsbury I and his wife, Bobbie of Loudon and Michael Lounsbury and his wife, Melinda of Missouri; her two daughters, Cindy Testa of Lunenburg, MA and Debora Barton of Loudon; 13 grandchildren, Stephanie, John II, Ryan, Jennifer, Miranda, Jason, Heather, Gregory, Justin I, Rebecca, Jeremy, Kaitlin and Kimberly; her son-in-law, Larry Barton of Concord; her brother, John A, Bragg of Arizona and her sister Ramona Farrell of Concord as well as several great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her first husband, Wilbur James Lounsbury Jr., her second husband, Daniel Haddock, her great-grandson Justin II and her maternal grandparents, John and Mazie Bragg.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Friday June 3, 2016 from 10:00-11:30am at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30am also at the funeral home.
Burial will immediately follow in the family lot at Union Cemetery, Laconia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
