Margee Angell (Marianne Haley Angell) of Pleasantville, NY died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Calvary Hospital. She was 84. Margee was born March 30, 1932 in Chicago to Miriam Rhody and Felix Haley. She married Dr. Charles L. Angell, PhD in 1958. Charles died in 2007. She is survived by son Stephen Angell, daughter Katie Gorycki and beloved granddaughter Haley Gorycki. Cherished member of a large extended family rooted in Iowa. She was a treasured friend and second mom to many. Known for her dry intelligent humor, Margee was a “jack of all trades”, a research assistant with a Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Mary’s of the Woods, a real estate agent, a folk guitar teacher, an award winning quilter and avid gardener.
