Obituary

James F. Hulme passed away on May 27, 2016. He was 89 years old.

James was a lifelong resident of Medford. He was a United States Navy Veteran during World War II in the Battle of Normandy. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years and was a member of the VFW and American Legion in both Malden and Medford.

James was the beloved husband of Anna Shea. He was the loving father of James K. Hulme of PA, Stephen J. Hulme and his wife Claire of Tewksbury and the late Carole A. LoManto and Gary M. Hulme. James was the dear step-father of Kathleen, Maureen, Doreen, Corinne, Laurine, Franke and Michael. He was the brother of Joseph Hulme and his wife Sarah of Hyde Park and the late John, Edward, and Freddy Hulme. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday June 4th at 9:00a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Francis of Assisi Church 441 Fellsway West, Medford at 10:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday June 3rd from 4-8p.m. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
