CONNIE (DENNIS) DOWDLE, 58, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2016.
Preceding her in death was her brother, Johnnie Mitchell Dennis, Jr., her father, Gary Thomason, and her mother-in-law, Jackie Dowdle.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 39 years, Daniel E. Dowdle, Jr.; her daughters, Jessica Barnett (Charles) and Jennifer Zebley (Nathan); grandchildren, Kara, Kalen, Charles III, Lance, Braden, Jacob and Lauren; her mother, Blanche Dennis “Cookie” Thomason; father, Johnnie M. Dennis, Sr. (Peggy); her sisters, Candi Thomason Michaels (Patrick), Debbie Wheeler Nevitt and Tamara Luna; father-in-law, Daniel E. Dowdle, Sr.; and her best friend, Teresa McCormick.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Memorial visitation will be from 1- 7 p.m. Thursday.
