Funeral Services for Daisy Lane Tison, 97, of Ashburn, GA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Turner County. Mrs. Tison passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016 after an extended illness.
The daughter of the late William Wallace and Emma Sarah Gorday Lane, she was born in Rebecca, GA on November 7, 1918. She was a homemaker and a member of The First Baptist Church of Ashburn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Marion Tison, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter Jane T. (Silas) Creel of Dothan, AL, two sons Frank (Pamela) Tison of Dublin, GA, Lane (Paula) Tison, of Marietta, GA, four grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon, June 1, 2016, from one until the hour of service at Perry Funeral Chapel.
