Lorraine A. (Lemieux) Dimmock age 82 of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, MA.
She was born in Methuen, MA, where she grew up and attended schools and was a lifelong resident. She was in the last graduating class of St. Theresa’s High School.
Lorraine was a homemaker. Her family meant everything to her. She was an excellent singer and enjoyed gardening, and was a very talented decorator. Most of all Lorraine loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years: Edward Dimmock III of Methuen, her children: Debra and her husband Robert Joubert of Methuen, MA, David and his wife Barbara Dimmock of Methuen, MA, and Elizabeth Whittemore of Exeter, NH, Grandchildren: Jillian Joubert, Stephanie Joubert, Andrew Martin, Laura Martin, and Alexander Dimmock. She is also survived by her Grand dogs and cats.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 2nd at 11 AM at Our Lady of Good Council, St. Theresa’s Church, Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
Friends and relative are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 1st from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA.
