ROBERT “FRANK” COX, 92, returned to his Heavenly Father on May 27, 2016.
He was a retired employee of International Harvester where he worked for 37 ½ years, a member of the Local Chapter of UAW, and a Marine veteran of WW II.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Virgil and Clara Cox; his brother, Joseph Cox and sister, Dorothy Stiebel.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 years, Joan (Ringo) Cox; children, Fred Cox (Jayne) and Cindy Cox Shirley; five grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; his brothers, Oscar, J. C. and Walter Cox; sisters, Mary Cox Elliott (Howard) and Shirley Cox Blanton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday.
