Obituary


East Bridgewater – Elise Margot Boucher, 48 died On May 27 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lise was the daughter of Richard and Victoria (Walmsley) Boucher of East Bridgewater.

Born in Brocton on April 15, 1968, Lise was raised in East Bridgewater. She graduated from EB High School in 1986 and received her Associate Degree in Business at Massasoit Community College in 1988.

She was employed as an Assistant Bakery Manager at Shaw’s Supermarkets for twenty-six years and most recently was employed at Roche Bros Supermarket in Bridgewater. For many years she resided in Somersworth, NH but had returned to East Bridgewater about two years ago.

Lise was a remarkably hard worker and had a vibrant personality. An excellent gardener, her flowers were beautiful and vegetables abundant. She loved to cook, to dance, and to spend relaxation time at the family cabin in the White Mountains with her dogs Zeus and Snickers. She also loved to tell jokes and to make people laugh. All who knew her and loved her will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two brothers, Joseph (and Mary) of Somersworth, NH and Robert (and Yvonne) of East Bridgewater. She was the beloved Auntie of several nieces and nephews, and is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours to be held on Tuesday May 31 from 3:00-6:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. By request of the family all other services are omitted.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Animal Protection Center of SE Massachusetts, 1300 West Elm Street Ext., Brockton, MA 02301.
