Margaret H. Lambert, 91, of South Attleboro, formerly of Cumberland, died Thursday at Trinity Health and Rehab Center in Woonsocket. She was the loving wife of Aldeoda C. Lambert. They were married on January 25, 1947.
Born in Cumberland she was a daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Bouchard) Soucy. She was a resident of Cumberland for many years before moving to South Attleboro in 1975.
Mrs. Lambert was employed at Tupperware, Berkshire Hathaway and Texas Instruments for many years before retiring in 1987.
Margaret was a dedicate homemaker and enjoyed keeping up with her yardwork. She had been a communicant of St. Joan of Arc in Cumberland and St. Mary’s Church in Seekonk while living in Attleboro. In past years she was also a member of the Notre Dame senior citizens club in Central Falls. Margaret will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother.
In addition to her husband of 69 years she is survived by a daughter Suzanne Lambert of North Kingstown. She as the grandmother of the late Michael C. Moone who passed away in 1992. She was the sister of Rita Lacombe of North Smithfield, Ruth Palin of Cumberland, Jeanne Gendron of Albion and the late Gerard Soucy and Therese Dubois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd. Cumberland. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave. Pawtucket. Visiting hours are Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 am, prior to Mass, in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
