Danny Bob Broome, 66, of Tifton went home to be with Lord on Friday, May 27, 2016, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Cornerstone Christian Church in Sparks with the Rev. John Bagley officiating. Mr. Broome will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens in Rome Tuesday, May 31, 2016.. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 29, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Cornerstone Christian Church in Sparks.
Born June 27, 1949 in Floyd County, Mr. Broome was the son of the late Phillip Bonzy “P.B.” Broome and Ruby Voiles Broome. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dannette Snow Casto, who died in 2014. He was an ordained minister and loved ministering at the House of Grace. He was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church in Sparks.
Mr. Broome is survived by his wife, Mary Wood Broome of Tifton; a son, Tommy Barry of Tifton; two daughters, Sonja Duncan of Hinesville and Carleen Connor of Tifton; a brother and sister-in-law, Phillip Jerry and Sheila Broome of Cave Springs; a sister and brother-in-law, Diana and David Agan of Rome; and six grandchildren, Cody Snow, Isabella Connor, Hannah Barry, Sydney Barry, Jedediah Duncan and Zachariah Duncan.
