Elizabeth “Betty” Bozoian
Manchester– Elizabeth “Betty” (Muzzey) Bozoian, 90, died May 25, 2016 surrounded by the love of her family following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on April 19, 1926 the daughter of Ralph and Lillian (Smith) Muzzey.
She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School and a lifelong resident of Manchester.
For many years she was a bookkeeper for Easler’s and Anthony’s Mens Store and also worked in the finance department at local banks.
She was a longtime parishioner of St. Peter’s Church in Auburn.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard M. Bozoian on October 8, 2004.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who was loved by everyone who knew her, but no one could have loved her more than her family,.
Family members include 2 sons, Dick Bozoian and his wife, Sandy of NC., Dan Riley and his wife, Brenda of TX., 2 daughters, Sherry Bozoian of Manchester, Sandra Bozoian and her partner, Lynne Carter of VA., 3 grandchildren, Shannon Mihalko and her husband Ryan of NC, Marty Riley and his wife, Kelly of CA., T Riley and his wife Jess of TX, 7 great grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Cooper, Braden, Carson, Kaden, Makenna and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also predeceased by her brother, Ralph Muzzey Jr..
The family would like to thank Villa Crest Nursing Home for the care and compassion they gave to Betty during her stay there.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Peter’s Church, Auburn.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN. 38105-1942
