Veto “Richie” Manganiello of Needham, formerly of Pompano Beach FL died on Monday July 11th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. He was 72 years old. Born in Needham, Veto was a graduate of Needham High School Class of 1951. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Mr. Manganiello lived in Pompano Beach Florida for 42 years, before returning to Needham 2 ½ years ago. He was a well known masonry contractor in Needham and Pompano Beach. The beloved husband for 53 years of Barbara A. (Jackson), He was the father of Sheryl Vavrick and Michael Manganiello both of Florida, the brother of Carmen Manganiello of FL, Ralph and his wife Eleanor Manganiello of Medfield and the late Joseph Manganiello and Terry Estill. Grandfather of Shawn, Anthony and Christopher, he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Friday July 15 at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 5-8 PM.
